Artist: Red Hot Chili Peppers
Concept: The Red Hot Chili Peppers style has a lot of elements of funk throughout their songs. I'm planning on making a large image of a chili pepper formed out of warped type. If you listen to the bass-line in this piece it really reminds me of something really rounded and juicy looking. So I want the type that is forming the pepper to be really rounded and juicy throughout. I'm going to color it like a classic red pepper with a green stem and shading that really makes the vibrant red pop. I'm also considering having sunburst type rays coming from behind the pepper that is made up of the various titles of their other songs.
